The study leave is a period for which students in educational institutions temporarily interrupt their training for health, including maternity reason, recruitment into the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The study leave for health is provided only on the conclusion of the medical advisory committee for 6 or for 12 months.

For making medical conclusions about the possibility of granting the study leave for a student  it is  necessary to supply the detailed extract from the medical institution where he was under supervision in the center of the primary health care of KSU named after A.Baitursynov. Medical expert commission makes a determination of the need for leave.

For registration of a study leave a student submits an application to the Rector and submits a certificate of Medical expert commission, or recruitment into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Rector shall issue an order granting the student a study leave indicating its start and end dates.

At the end  of a study leave a  student applies to the Rector and provides the conclusion from  Medical expert commission  of the  medical institution where he was under supervision. 

The student on returning from  a study leave  from  should eliminate the  academic difference in the subjects of the curriculum, if any, for a fee. A student visits all kinds of studies, along with current training sessions, eliminate differences in the semester, gives all kinds of monitoring and is admitted to the exams or studying disciplines that make up the difference, in the summer semester.
