On February 11-12, 2019 the kick-off meeting of the ERASMUS + CBHE Project "Developing Services for Individuals with Disabilities [DECIDE]" was held in the library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with participation of partners from countries of the European Union and Central Asia. Project goal of the project is promotion and development of access to inclusive education, social integration and non-discriminatory treatment of those who have special educational needs, in accordance with the criteria of the Bologna process and the UN Convention on Rights of people with disabilities.

The meeting was attended by partners of ERASMUS + CBHE Project Development of Services for Persons with Disabilities [DECIDE] from University of Transylvania (Romania), University of Middlesex (United Kingdom), Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland), Dresden University of Technology (Germany), University of Crete (Greece), Uzbekistan project partners:  Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service Samarkand, Tashkent university of Information technology (TUIT), KARAKALPAK STATE UNIVERSITY AFTER NAMED BERDAKH, MUSHTOQ KO’ZLAR Society of social mutual aid of disabled children Tashkent; Tajikistan project partners: Khujand State University named after acad. B.Gafurov Khujand, Kulob Institute of Technology and Innovation Management, Institute of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Public Organisation of Parents with Children;  Kazakhstan project partners: Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University (KATU), Al Farabi Kazakh National University, A. Baitursynov Kostanay StateUniversity of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ABKSU), The Academy of Public Administration under President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A.Baitursynov KSU in the project is represented by Professor Khussain Valiyev, the Member of Supervisory board of Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay State University and Zarina Dosmukhamedova, Senior specialist of International Office.

March 24-31, 2018. Dresden technological university hosted project related meetings, including "English for Specific Purposes" training aimed at project-specific topics. The contents of the training:

- "Inclusion" action plan;

- "People with disabilities" - terminology;

- Interpersonal communication skills;

- Disability policy introduction;

- Students with autism;

- Social, emotional and behaviorial difficulties.

At the end of the training, every participant was provided with a certificate of Teaching Centre of Languages and Cultures of Dresden Technical University. The participants also visited specialised library for people with disabilities and got acquainted with the library of Dresden Technological University. During the activities, A.Baitrusynov Kostanay State University was presented by Dosmukhamedova Z.K - International Office Senior Specialist, Smagulova A.S. - Senior Lecturer of Foreign Philology Department.

С 21 июля по 04 августа 2019 года, в Лимерикском институте технологий (Ирландия) прошли проектные встречи, включавшие в себя тренинг по 7 модулям проекта и демонстрации презентаций лекций. Лекции включали в себя следующие темы:

- Маркетинг - введение в теорию и практику;

- Взаимодействие и коммуникация (аутизм);

- Библиотеки для людей с ограниченными возможностями;

- Психологические и сенсорные нужды (введение, окружающая среда, вспомогательные элементы и технологии, универсальный дизайн обучения, метод кейса: разработка материалов для студентов с ограниченными возможностями, тест на усвоение материала);

- Создание офиса связи и поддержки;

- Познавательные способности и обучение студентов с ограниченными возможностями;

- Социальные, эмоциональные и поведенческие сложности;

- Правильный вокабулярий.

Помимо преподавания лекционных занятий, по результатам которых слушателям были выданы сертификаты, в ходе встреч в Лимерикском технологическом институте участниками консорциума проекта были составлены маркетинговые планы Дней осведомленности на 2020 год. Дополнительно участники проекта смогли посетить библиотеку Лимерикского института. В ходе данных встреч КГУ имени А.Байтурсынова был представлен следующими сотрудниками: Пархоменко И.А. - старший преподаватель кафедры психологии и педагогики, Досмухамедова З.К. - старший специалист отдела международных связей.
