Session of the contest committee in KSU

On September 9, 2016, the regular session of the contest committee took place in conference hall of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University.

The competition on the posts replacing of academic teaching staff is conducted in accordance with the Standard Qualification descriptions of posts of pedagogical workers and the person, who is equated to them, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No.338 of July 13, 2009, and Rules competitive replacement of posts of academic teaching staff and scientific workers of Higher Education Institution, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No.230 of April 23, 2015.

In accordance with the Regulation about competitive replacement of posts of academic teaching staff, approved by the decision of Board of Studies (record No.9 of June 30, 2016), on July 25, 2016, the advertisement about competitive replacement of vacant posts of academicteaching staff was posted on the external site of University.

 

Applications on participation were being received during 30 calendar days to August 25, 2016. Elections of the competition and concluding of the employment contract are held not later than in two months after the end of filing of applications.

 

38 applications were submitted, according to the announced 66 vacant posts, on participation in the competition from applicants on the relevant posts.  

According to new Regulations of competitive replacement, the signing of the employment contract is held after the end of the meeting of contest committee and decision of HEI rector not later than within 10 calendar days. The contract is signed for a period of three years according to new Regulations. The extension of the employment contract isn't provided upon the termination of it validity. The condition is new; the contract was being concluded on an indefinite period by the previous Regulations.

 

For the period preceding the competition, results of scientific and pedagogical activity of applicants have been generalized at meetings of departments, professional and personal qualities of candidates, taking into account qualification requirements, are estimated, open classes and the motivated conclusions are given.

 

The members of contest committee and schedule of the competition was approved by the Order of Rector No.130 of August 29, 2016.

The aim of the contest committee of University is a writing of recommendations about every candidate on the vacant post to the Rector, by results of secret vote.

The contest committee makes recommendations about the employment contract conclusion with a certification in 5 years or rejection of the candidate in case of inconsistency to the specified requirements, and additional recommendations with justification of the reasons.

 

The session of the contest committee lasted about three hours, then, results were summarized. All 38 candidates passed the competition.
