Annually (6 times) on the eve of the New year, the charity event, directed on the gifts collecting to the New Year for children, who on the upbringing at the Minors Adaptation Centre of Kostanay, is held by the psychology and pedagogy department of KSU under the leadership of head teacher O.V.Yelchisheva. Both teachers and students of University took active part in this action.

All collected gifts for children were presented on the New Year’s matinee on December 28, 2016. The interesting new-year costume performance was showed on the festive event, in which all children were pleased to take part and also educators and teachers of the Centre. At the end of action, all children received sweet gifts, toys and games, which will help them to develop their skills and spend usefully free time.

This year many gifts were collected and it was decided to give part of its in Kostanay regional Adaptation Centre for women and children. These sweet gifts were presented to children on new-year matinee in the kindergarten at the centre.  

KSI administration of the «Minors Adaptation Centre» of the Education Management of Kostanay region’s akimat and KSI administration «Kostanay regional Adaptation Centre for women and children» sent grateful letters, in which they thanked teachers and students of the psychology and pedagogy department of KSU, and also management of University for cooperation, voluntary activity and sponsorship support.

The staff of department expressed a big gratitude to employees and students of University, who participated in the charity event, especially, to «Development Fund of A.Baitursynov KSU», which provided material assistance for gifts purchasing.

«Your help and support to children, who have fallen into a difficult life situation, presented them happiness and believe in fairytales and kindness of adults»- teachers noted.
