The seminar-competition «Economist day» was held in the informal format by the economics department on the economic faculty. More than 30 student and 10 teachers of the economic faculty took part in the action. The players of the teams were not only students, but also all teachers of the economics department under the leadership of head of department Alexander Nikolayevich Gorelov. The purpose of this event was a formation of economic mentality of students, consolidation of students and teachers. The objective of the seminar-competition was exchange by the opinions on the economic issues with using playing methods.

In general, the action passed in the high professional level. The winners of the competition received memorable prizes and certificates.
