Within the framework of the practice-oriented courses on the discipline “Court system of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, 3-year students of Law Faculty of KSU visited the specialized interdistrict court in the criminal proceedings of Kostanay region. During the excursion, students learned about work of court secretaries, office, archives and codification. The courtrooms, which were equipped with the AVF system, were seen by students. Also the court chairman Ye.Seralin told students about specificity of the court and explained the Message of the President to Kazakhstan’s people “Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”. Students asked questions on work of the jury trial. The chairman clarified the procedure for selecting of the jury. After the report of the chairman, students visited the trial. In the future, students will participate in open court proceedings within the framework of the practice-oriented courses.

The round table on the topic «Mediation - best way of dispute resolution» was held online on the Law Faculty of KSU. Siberian Centre of Conflictology, professional mediators, judge of Kostanay region participated in the round table, and also lecturers and students of Law Faculty. The organizer of this event was the civil law and procedure department. The head lecturer K.K.Akhmedinova was moderator. During the round table, current and problematic issues of mediation were discussed. The exchange of the mediation experience in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation was implemented. Participants of the event told about implementation of the mediation, and also about moments and peculiarities of it applications in the field of own activity.

During January and February 2017, the department of Criminal Law and Procedure of Law Faculty and teaching staff of Educational Centre of MIA of RK held meetings, seminars and discussions of the Message of the President in the administrative building of Educational Centre of MIA of RK of Kostanay as part of the implementation of Memorandum on cooperation between A.Baitursynov KSU and Education Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These topics were considered during the meeting: 1. Events conducting, directed on propaganda of educational activity of A.Baitursynov KSU; 2. Development and implementation of collaborative innovative projects, directed on education quality’s increasing; 3. Exchange of experience and knowledge, gathered in the relevant field of activity by means of participating of lecturers in scientific and methodical seminars, scientific and practical conference and other events, which are organized by parties. 4. Organization and holding of educational seminars on a non-repayable basis in the field of organization of academic process and educational practice. During the event, the qualification upgrading courses with academic teaching staff were conducted on the topic «Forms of pretrial proceedings». At the end of education, participants received certificates.

Within the methodological innovation month of the Economics Faculty, the round table «Current state of monetary policy of RK: Realities and Perspectives» was held by the finance and banking department on February 22, 2017.  The representatives of banking sector, academic teaching staff and students of the specialty 5B050900-Finance were invited on the event. 3 year students of the specialty 5B050900-Finance made the presentations. Guldana Ismagambetova spoke on «Main directions of monetary policy of RK National Bank for promoting of the stability ensuring of the state» and Anastassiya Aleksandrova on the topic «Market of the online-microcredit». A.D.Askarova - head of the department for work with customers «Zhilstroisberbank» JSC (bank of the housing constructing savings) told about new housing state programme «Nurly zher» on 2017 and about pluses and minuses of the system of zhilstroisberezheniy (housing constructing savings). Aleksandr Vladimirovich Garas - chairman of the Subsidiary Bank of «Sberbank» JSC and head of the department for work with small business told the students about organization of the bank work with the problem loans. After the presentations, the interested questions were asked by the participants of the round table. Students expressed the high level of interest to the event.    

The chairman of interregional juvenile court of Kostanay region Aizada Mardanovna Zhanibekova spoke on “Present and past of the specialized interregional juvenile court of Kostanay region” in the meeting with 2 and 3 years students of law faculty of KSU. The lecturer L.T.Nurkhanova was initiator of this meeting. During the meeting, students received information about the work of the juvenile court in the years of establishing and at present, about specified requirements to judges and about honor code of civil servants. Students asked questions in administrative, civil and criminal matters for minors' affairs and received specific answers. Also A.M. Zhanibekova gave special literature to participants. At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the court thanked students and teaching staff of HEI for providing attention and wished successful study and big achievements to everybody.

The Republican Debate Tournament «KGU CUP XI», in which participated 24 teams from Kokshetau, Karaganda, Astana and Kostanay, was ended on the third day of the tournament. The debate club of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University «Akhmet urpaktary» was a main organizer of this event.  Based on the results of the tournament, representative of the debate club «Orda» KAZGUU Anzhelika Lemondzhava became the best speaker. Anuar Sagarov became the best judge. Results of the game: 1 place - “Nastya and Anzhelika”, Anzhelika Lemondzhava and Anastassiya Ossadchaya, Astana and Kostanay, KAZGUU and KSU. 2 place -“The Good Life in practice”, Nurzhan Onashabai and Sabit Adiya, Astana, Nazarbayev University. 3 place - “Ka peks”, Alisher Omerbayeva and Assel Kalkaman, Astana, ENU. We congratulate the winners of the Republican Debate Tournament.
