Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay State University takes the seventh place in the national rating of the best Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The certificates were received last week.

IKAQAE president, professor, doctor of pedagogic science Sholpan Kalanova gave the data that National rating of Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IKAQAE) consisted from 3 components: 1, 2 and 3 stages. The first stage was representing academic statistic indicators and criteria, which covered contingent and student’s population, results of their education, quality of academic teaching staff, scientific and innovative activity of HEIs, international cooperation, and also information presentation in the Internet. The second stage was introducing reputation of HEIs in the sight of experts. The third stage was presenting reputation of HEIs in the sight of employers.

Also KSU took leading positions in the following specialities on the basis of IKAQAE decision:

• Foreign philology - 2^nd place;
• Technological machines and equipment - 2^nd place;
• Technology of processing industries - 3^rd place;
• Mathematics - 4^th place;
• Journalism - 4^th place. 

7^th place in the national rating of HEIs of Kazakhstan for our University staff is a big success and confirmation high quality of education.
