On April 17, 2017, the contest «The best in the profession - programmer» was organized by the software department for students of 5В070400 - Computers and software specialty within the month of methodological innovation at the Faculty of Information Technology. The leading experts of the companies «ITL.KZ» LLP and «PROFI ESСORT» LLP were invited as the jury.  

The main objectives of the competition were: the quality improvement of professional training, identification and support of creative abilities and interests of students.

At the competition, the students presented the ready-made projects - business card websites, online stores, databases, computer games, mobile applications, as well as complex projects. Students defended their projects in English, Russian and Kazakh.

The jury noted the high training of students and selected the projects-winners:

1st place - Viktoriya Ivanova. The topic of the project: Development of online mobile phone store-front «Fly» by LTD "ITL-KZ";

2nd place - Nikolay Manuylov. The topic of the project:  Development of a module for equipment identification by reading barcodes on the ANDROID platform for the mechatronics laboratory of A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University.

3rd place - Kirill Stepanov .The topic of the project: Development of the Internet-shop of printed products’ sales for «Pechenkin AA» SP.

All participants of the competition were awarded by the diplomas and prizes.
