Informational-educational centre “Knowledge centre – Bilim ortalygy” plays an important role in the infrastructure of the university.

Informational-educational centre “Knowledge centre – Bilim ortalygy” was opened in September 2006. Designed and equipped according to the most modern requirements, Informational-educational centre “Knowledge centre – Bilim ortalygy” includes 4 departments, 2 reading halls, an Internet hall, a lecture hall and a literature salon. There is also a student canteen with 90 seats. The floor area of the centre is   4500 m2, 1500 m2 is for book stack. The overall number of books is 107 018.

For the automation of the IEC "Bilim ortalygy" IRBIS 64 system was introduced. It has an extensive set of features for cataloging of the fund, flexible interface, software users control system, vast data storage.

Bar coding of the library fund and library cards allowed to automate the process of electronic circulation of literature and save time when working with clients. 

There a reading room in each building of the university. You will find periodicals and books most requested at the faculty, where the reading room is situated. The reading rooms are equipped with computers with the access to Intranet and the Internet. "Anti-theft" system is installed in each reading room to ensure the safety of the fund. The overall capacity of the reading rooms of the university is 700 seats.
