The basis of the information infrastructure of the University today is a vast and complex computer park of telecommunications facilities. The University has created a unified corporate telecommunication network, which is a powerful platform for the development, implementation and use of new information and communication technologies. Local networks of the university buildings are grouped together by fiber backbone transmission .The Internet speed is 80MB / s , and in this regard , Kostanai State University occupies one of the leading positions among the universities of Kazakhstan .Access to the Internet for all the students , faculties and the teachers staff is unlimited . The University has installed Wi-Fi in all its buildings which provides wireless access for all students and teachers to the information resources of the intranet of KSU and to the Internet due to the use of personal computers in classrooms and public spaces (halls, lecture - halls , recreationsetc.)

     Management of the main processes of the University activities is automated .Due to the telecommunications network and connection to the broadband Internet access IP-telephony, domestic television,video surveillance system, the system of control and account of staff and visitors access to the University have been installed.The presence of the internal information-education portal and extensive corporate network allows everybody to get access to all information resources using personal computers (There are 1000 computers at the University.)or the information terminal. This creates all the necessary conditions for carrying out scientific and research work and quality teaching.
