In Kazakhstan the most important unit of educational and scientific structural division of higher education engaged in educational, methodical, scientific research and educational work, as well as training of the teaching staff and improving their skills is the department.

In the structure of the engineering technical faculty there are  three departments: the Department of machines, tractors and vehicles, the Department of Technical Service and the Department of Electricity energetics and physics. Department provides training in five undergraduate majors and four master specialties.

There are experienced teachers, the doctors of sciences, the candidates of sciences and masters of engineering and technology on the faculty.
