On November 2, 2018, a round table was held in the conference hall of the main building of KSU named after A. Baitursynov as part of the scientific and practical conference “Spiritual modernization as a key factor in the development of Kazakhstan in the context of the fourth industrial revolution”. The round table was attended by: The Department of Internal Policy of the Akimat of the Kostanay region, Public Foundation “Civil Alliance of the Kostanay Region“ Grin ”, university management and students.

On November 6, 2018, in the conference hall of KSU named after Akhmet Baitursynov, on the eve of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the national currency, a student scientific-practical conference was held on the theme: “The role of tenge in the formation of sovereign Kazakhstan”. The conference was attended by students of higher educational institutions of the Kostanay region. Representatives of the Fund of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan selected 10 works for public listening and independent evaluation of the jury.

On November 28, 2018, at the Department of Veterinary Medicine for 4-5 year students, a scientific and practical conference "Youth Contribution to the Development of Kazakhstan's Science" was held, dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On March 15, 2019, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Methodology, Theory and Practice of Modern Biology” was organized by the Department of Biology and Chemistry of the Agrarian and Biological Faculty of A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University.

On March 29, 2019, Kostanai State University hosted the International annual conference of students and undergraduates “Youth and science in the context of new industrial modernization and updating the content of education”, organized by the Department of Science and Postgraduate Education.

On April 3, 2019, students of the journalism specialty of A. Baitursynov KSU for the first time took part in the international youth online conference on the topic “Do students need media literacy?”, Which was held as part of the VI International Farabi Readings and a joint project of the US Embassy and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University .

May 28, 2019 - “Aspects of the development of agribusiness” - under this name, the International Scientific and Practical Student Conference was held at KEEU, in which students from universities of the Kostanay region, as well as students from Kurgan and Yekaterinburg, took an active part. Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov was represented at the conference by a 3rd year student of the specialty “Economics”, who made a presentation on the topic “Place and Role of Organic Production in Kazakhstan”. His work took 1st place.
