On November 5, 2018, a competition of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Scholarship for excellent study and participation in scientific research” was held in Nur-Sultan.

On November 30, 2018, the Center for Innovation Support of Tobol Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC, with organizational support of A. Baitursynov Kostanai State University, held a competition of innovative projects among students of colleges and higher educational institutions of the region, where our university students took an active part. So, for the period of accepting applications from November 1 to November 23, 2018, 41 projects were received from students of the region.

On February 22-24, 2019 at the Republican competition of startups “Jastar business” 2019 A student of the specialty Veterinary Sanitation, received a diploma for 3rd place.

In the city of Nur-Sultan, the Republican Subject Student Olympiad was held with a degree in Computer Science and Software. The Olympiad was attended by 17 teams from all regions of the country. Our university was represented by students of the specialty "Computer Engineering and Software" of the Faculty of Information Technology. The team showed deep theoretical and practical knowledge, managed to stand out from all the teams, thus taking the first prize.

On April 22-27, 2019, an open Russian BIM was held at St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering - SPbGASU-2019 Championship in building information modeling, but thanks to the participation of our students, it acquired international status. Team of Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov in this competition represented not only her university, but the whole country, as it was the only representatives of Kazakhstan.
