In the structure of IREC of KSU there created research and production biotechnological laboratory with modern equipment allowing to conduct molecular- biological, immunologic, physical and chemical, microbiological and biotechnological research.

Molecular –biological research unit

• Man and animal infectious diseases diagnosis via PCR method
• Working out test-systems for infectious diseases diagnosis
• Qualitative and quantitative identification of GMO in food stuff and fodder
• Conducting fundamental and applied research in Molecular Biology and Genetics

Immunologic and biological research unit   

• Identification of hormonal status of animal organisms
• Metabolism pathologies diagnosis
• Identification of hormones, pesticides, antibiotics in food stuff and fodder via IFA method
• Working out of test-systems for infectious diseases diagnosis

• Conducting fundamental and applied research in Biotechnology, Immunology, Veterinary sanitary and medicine

Micro-biological research unit   

• Selection, singling out and keeping the most promising strain-producers  of biologically active substances
• Micro-biological test of soil, water, fodder and other  biological objects

• Conducting fundamental and applied research in Micro-biology, Veterinary sanitary and Infectious Pathology.

Physical and chemical research unit   

• Physical and chemical testing of biological objects: water, soil, plants, raw materials of animal and plant origin, food stuff, etc.

• Extended zoo technical testing of fodder
• Physical and chemical maintenance of technological processes, input and output monitoring
• Conducting fundamental and applied research in Biotechnology, various branches of Agrarian Science, Veterinary Sanitary and Medicine.

 Bio-chemical testing  unit 

• Atomic adsorption spectrometric test of non-organic elements in biosubstrates and environmental objects contents.
• Test of organic structure  of various objects  via  chromatographic method.
