Within the frames of  Kazakhstani Economy intensive development the main direction is forming innovation research infrastructure of Higher Educational Institutions.

To achieve this aim in the university there are programmes on innovation development to realize scientific and research, material and technical potential of  the university, business energy of all the parties concerned. 

Centre of Economic Research and Innovation Science and Educational Centre together with the university’s structural units offer a wide range of fundamental, applied, social and economic projects and research improving the activities and effectiveness of economic subjects, state and local governing bodies.  The Centre also provides consulting services, including designing business projects, analysis of markets of goods and services, and economic support of the activities of businesses and industries. It also cooperates with other research centres, state, public and non-governmental organization.

Centre of Economic Research

carries out the activities in the following directions:

• Attracting private sources of economic research financing, assisting university teachers in concluding economic agreements with natural and legal persons;
• Cooperating with state governing bodies, non-for-profit organizations, development institutions, businesses;
• Consulting natural and legal persons on economic issues,  free and paid;
• Carrying out research and economic projects;
• International cooperation  on economic issues, expertise exchange with leading research and innovation organizations;
• Arrangement and coordination within scientific infrastructure of fundamental and applied projects of technological, humanitarian, economic and other directions;
• Compiling expert and analytical notes, press-releases, overviews on economic issues for Mass Media and others.

Innovation Scientific Education Centre

carries out the activities in the following directions:

• Working out and implementing fundamental and applied scientific projects within international, republican and regional scientific and technical programmes.
• Creation of temporary teams for independent innovation projects with institutions of innovation development, business community of Kostanai oblast.
• Working out of innovation technologies, apparatus, devices, soft-ware, etc.
• Participation in training  scientists and teachers (within post-graduate, master and doctorate programmes)
• Working out and implementing in education  of innovation  methods of teaching
• Cooperation  with international, Kazakhstani and regional subjects of innovation activities.
