Scientific seminars, conferences and round tables are an integral part of a scientific sphere, when the researches at various stages of development are performed and discussed. KSU regularly hosts a range of international, republican and inter-university scientific conferences, seminars, contests and round tables for professorial staff, master and bachelor students. Nowadays more and more online conferences are held as IT gathers the speed of development.

  A student scientific conference is annually held at university, what includes department, faculty and university levels. The best works are awarded with diplomas and certificates and are directed to the republican contest of students’ research works.

     Every April one of the most prominent events in university life is held and that is “Baitursynov Readings”. The conference gathers hundreds of scientists from Kazakhstan and foreign universities, representatives of educational system and Kostanay local authorities, and rectors form other universities.

     To get youth interested in real innovating and entrepreneurial processes, a program for student business projects competition called “Parasatti zhastar” functions at university annually. The competition demonstrates students’ involvement and dedication to present their projects and to obtain knowledge not only in the professional sphere but also to master entrepreneurial skills.
