The essential component of the quality assurance process of the Tempus project TRADPRO coordinated by SupAgro Montpellier was Audit Visit by Dr. Carlos Machado. One of the added values of the present assessment is that it can be used as a working tool towards continuous improvement for the second half of the year.
The following assessment has been mainly focused on the activities implemented during 2014-2015, mapping the existing processes through interviews to the main coordinator and national project coordinators, while more detailed information will be obtained through an extensive number of interviews in the second half of the project. The interviews undertaken have provided enough qualitative data to understand the process of implementation, group dynamics and challenges ahead of the project.
In the wake of the EACEA’s ROM monitoring methodology and following the model developed by OECD, 5 criteria will be taken into account to evaluate the TRADPRO TEMPUS project; that is, relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability with a scale of 1 to 4 according to the scale used to rate UNDP-assisted programmes and projects through monitoring and evaluations.
The audit report was studied by the project partners and discussed online, also the plan on the project improvement was developed.

On June 15-17, 2016 A.Baitursynov KSU participated in the workshop “Governance and change management, in the context of professionalization and enhancement of training programs” held by SUPAGRO, Montpellier, France.
The target group of the workshop comprised top management executives of the partner universities from Russia and Kazakhstan. The training provided by SUPAGRO aimed at revitalizing the project spirit and energy as well as teaching participants to find solutions of the problems via sharing knowledge, experience, and opinions.
As the result of the workshop partner universities developed individual action plan considering different aspects (stakeholders; needs).
The participants were inspired to work hard at the project implementation. During the workshop, the participants had a chance to communicate to the representatives of EACEA and apply for the project prolongation. Some reason for the project prolongation include the delayed start of the project due to political reasons caused late launch of all project activities and for the present day the project urges for the feedback on implementation of 45 ECTS in Traditional Food Processing Food Safety and Marketing and Engineering within Master programmes.
At the very moment the project needs:
- To obtain a certain result and action plan regarding the relationships between partner-universities and professioals at the end of 2016
- 3 modules: Food safety, Traditional food processing, marketing/entrepreneurship must be piloted in master programmes of the universities and assessed by the teaching staff, students and enterprises
- To enchance the cooperation with the enterprises (qualitative indexes, internships, carreer days). Involve Professional Development Centres into the work.
- Each university should train enterprises on each of the modules developed
