First Forum of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of KSU
In June 2012 the first Forum of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of A.Baitursynov KSU was held. There were more than 350 people who came not only from different regions of Kazakhstan, but also from different republics of the CIS and Germany. Graduates of different generations, including the heads of major organizations, government agencies and business organizations, the members of the board of trustees took part in the discussion of improving the educational process.
The Forum was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Kostanai region, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Alumni and the KSU Bekturganov S.Ch., the members of the Board of Trustees and the Association of Alumni, members of the boards of trustees of faculties, members of the academic council and the board of the university professors, business leaders, graduates of the University, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and labour, youth organizations, graduates of 2012.
Realizing that the image of the university depends on the success of its students who join in an active mutually beneficial cooperation with the University, paying their respects to AlmaMater, the Forum expressed their readiness to interact in different forms with the university, including the mutual research projects, funding of gifted students and promising young scientists, strengthening the material-technical base, participation in the educational process, offering scientific and production orders.
The Forum approved the Regulation on the Association of Alumni and Trustees of KSU, received the Appeal of the Forum to all university graduates to join the Association, which will help to preserve and strengthen the team spirit for a worthy continuation of traditions of the university, will significantly influence the process of preparing young people for work in the real sector of the economy.
The Forum developed the rules of joining the Association of Alumni. Members of the Association offer suggestions to the University to improve the quality of our staff. The offers of employment of young professionals are received as well as the implementation of scientific research and the development of joint projects.
Development Fund (endowment fund) was created in order to implement the tasks of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of the University. Its proceeds are supposed to be used to the target student learning, support for research, improving infrastructure of the university, human resource development, improving the educational process and more.
The Board of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of KSU was elected as acting on a regular basis the supreme governing body of the Association. Under the auspices of the Regional Administration on behalf of the Mayor the work of the Board of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of KSU is led by Deputy Mayor of Kostanai region Benkturganov S.Ch. The 14 of the first leaders of large corporations, holding companies, joint stock companies have become members of the Board of the Association of Alumni and Trustees.

The appeal of the participants of the 1st Forum of Alumni and Trustees of A.Baitursynov KSU

We, the participants of the Forum of Alumni and Trustees of A. Baitursynov KSU, are interested in the development of the university and support any sincere initiatives in the implementing of this idea.
A program of industrial-innovative development is implemented in our state, aimed at the creation of new and modernization of existing facilities. Agriculture is seriously modernized. All these and other initiatives taking place in the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at the development of the economy and require highly skilled workers. Just such professionals can give a modern higher education. Not for the first year A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University works in this direction.
Reforms passing in the system of training can be provided a substantial support of the Association of Alumni and Trustees of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University as a form of modern corporate governance.
In this regard, the 1st Forum of Alumni and Trustees appeals to every citizen, not indifferent to the fate of the central university in the region, not indifferent to the future of Kostanay region and the Republic of Kazakhstan, to join the Association of Alumni and Trustees. This will significantly raise the level of knowledge of our graduates to the world standards and to influence the process of preparing young people for work in the real sector of the economy.
We are ready to various forms of cooperation with the University, including the mutual research projects, funding of gifted students and perspective young scientists, strengthening the material-technical base, participation in the educational process, offering scientific and production orders.
Forum participants believe that the Association of Alumni and Trustees, established on June 8, 2012, will be an important social institution in a systematic and consistent work of creating a harmonious, developed, motivated person.
The team work of the Association will promote the preservation and strengthening of team spirit for a worthy continuation of fine traditions of the university.
