Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service affairs and anti-corruption on Kostanay region held the meeting on the topic «Admission to civil service» with the undergraduates from economics faculty of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University. Within the framework of the event, head in the sphere of the civil service control of the Department E.A.Salykbayev and main specialist of the civil service management G.Zh.Kabylova told KSU students about competitive procedure at the admission to civil service, and also about exam procedure. Besides, civil servants drew attention to the fact that the reputation of civil service depends on the service quality, which is provided by the state authority to the citizens, further improvement of the legislation about civil service, strengthening of the ethical behavior of civil servants and increasing the public confidence to the state authority. They recommended for students to pass test on the vacant position of civil servants. E.A.Salykbayev noted in his performance that the number of civil servants is nearly 6,5 thousand specialists at the moment and every year 3-4 thousand of graduates try to get a job on the civil service. The fact that only 54% participants pass the first stage of selection and are admited to the interview, shows that the purpose of the government to select “the best of the best” in the sphere of professionalization of state apparatus. This means that the students should study well for the benefit of the country, society and government!   

Within the framework of the realization of the contract №40 from 1.08.2015 between A.Baitursynov KSU and Kostanay Regional Prosecution SE RK about professional practice of students, the practice-oriented lecture on the topic «Admissions procedure on the service in the prosecution authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan» took place at building № 1 of KSU. Students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd courses of the Law Faculty and academic teaching staff attended the meeting. The head of the personnel administration of the prosecution of Kostanay region R.A.Tulanova gave a presentation. The head told about conditions of the service career in the prosecution authorities, about rules of the candidates’ competitive selection process and about importance of the polygraphological research passing. Then R.A.Tulanova answered numerous questions of students.  

The meeting «Poetic lounge» with consistent topic «Everything starts from love», which has become a tradition, took place at the reading hall of HSSF of KSU under the leadership of the professor of psychology and pedagogy department L.V.Sarkissyan. The students of the psychology and pedagogics department, HSSF, ITF, VLSF and other faculties took part in the event. Invited guests were creative people of our city. They were A.I.Suslova - poetess, corresponding member of RK academy of pedagogic sciences, V.A.Pyzhevskiy - bard, laureate of regional and republic contests of art songs, V.Aleksanin - soloist of Kostanay Regional Philharmonia. They generously shared with students their work and art, which is dedicated to love and motherland. The rubrics of «Poetic lounge» increased. The authors’ poems were read by the students poets. All participants sang the songs about parents, friendship, faithfulness and love and it was a peculiarity of the meeting. All participants were awarded by the grateful letters and talented young poets by the diplomas at the end of the meeting.  

On February 15, 2017, the presentation on the topic «Myths and «reefs» of accounting and audit specialty» was held within the Methodical Innovations Month on the economics faculty. The stakeholders were invited on this event. They were Maira Birzhanovna Bakenova - deputy director of Municipal State-Owned Public Enterprise «Regional Centre of the Professional Development Retraining of the Public Officials» of Kostanay region akimat, Dinara Zhumatovna Bargarinova - main specialist on the microcredit of small and medium-sized enterprises of KSE «Population Employment Centre of Kostanay akimat», Assel Yessengeldiyevna Urazbayevna - chief accountant of «Torgovy Dom Eldarado +» LLP, Natalya Mikhailovna Rymareva - chief accountant of «Assaliya» LLP, Anar Shokanovna Anafina - individual entrepreneur, Tamara Basschugulovna Shogubayevna - chief accountant of «Sosnovy Bor» LLP. Students of 3rd course of specialty 5B050800-Accounting and audit Diana Rakpanova and Galina Popruga showed the presentations. After the performance of stakeholders, students asked the questions on topic of specific interest to them.

During winter vacation of 2016-2017 educational years, students of the specialty 5В050900-Finance held training in Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz (Karaganda). In the course of training on the programme «Winter school», they become familiar with the system of training in Karaganda Economic University, examined and mastered such disciplines as «Management by the banking risks» and «Accounting and reporting in the commercial banks». By the words of students, they were excited by the studying in Karaganda Economic University. The courses were held in the interactive form, in the form of discussions, business plays and round tables. One of the positive moments of winter school is an acquaintance with other students from Karaganda and Pavlodar, and also an opportunity to improve English, because in addition students from Malaysia were studying in that University. Our students would like to express special thanks to organizers of additional activities and deputy dean for educational work of Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz, who helped pass the time and provided comfortable dormitory. During two weeks of studying, students visited museum of the First President in Temirtau, regional museum in Karaganda and museum of Karlag in the village Dolinka, which greatly impressed them. Also they had been on the hockey matches of HC «Saryarka», which gave them positive emotions. Students of the specialty 5В050900-Finance were glad to study in Karaganda and they with the pleasure will participate in winter school next educational year.

From 6 to 8 February 2017 at the Department of software protection has passed master's projects in the framework of the educational part GPIIR-2. On the Protection of Representatives of Innovative Enterprises and Dr. Romanov E.P. from Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov. Protection was held in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Undergraduates have demonstrated they have developed different models and designs of mechatronic modules. Attestation committee noted the high scientific and practical significance of the project to protect. The relevance of work performed confirmed the implementation of regulations in the production.
