On May 23, 2016, the professor Daniel Raichvarg from University of Burgundy (France) visited A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University. The purpose of visit is a discussion of the perspective directions of cooperation between two universities. The professor Daniel Raichvarg presented University of Burgundy, having pointed on the perspective directions of cooperation, including mobility of students. Also the online conversation with Director of Automobile and Sustainable Development Institute of University of Burgundy and Head of International Department took place during which prospects of mutual cooperation for development of master programs have been discussed.     Scientific and academic interaction of A. Baitursynov KSU and University of Burgundy will be implemented in the following areas:   • Mechanical engineering (production of vehicles, its parts, equipment and engines; production of agricultural machinery; mechatronics); • Food production (technology of processing of dairy products, technology of processing of meat products, production of flour and pasta products, production of vegetable oils and fats, etc.)  

The Olympiad on sports programming among students of specialized secondary institutions of Kostanay and Kostanay region held at the software department of A. Baitursynov KSU.   The main purpose of Olympiad is identification of talented youth among potential entrants, holding of professional orientation work, acquaintance of pupils with our University. Many educational institutions of the city accepted the invitation, having sent the participants and research supervisors on the Olympiad.   Following the results of the Olympiad, the first place took Tasbolat Tulegenov (Kostanay polytechnic college, the research supervisor M.B.Askarova), the second place – Artem Astapenko (Kostanay construction college, the research supervisor M. I. Mamedova), the third place – Kristina Sarkisyan (Technical and economic college KEEU named after M. Dulatov).   In the end of Olympiad, all participants and winners were awarded by certificates and valuable prizes.

On May 17, 2016, the solemn final of a season of intellectual debate club "Akhmet Urpaktary" took place in Kostanay State University. Results of the year showed the best debaters in nominations: "Debut of year" – N.Zhumakenov, T. Zhussupov, "Team of year" - "Visca el Barca" (S.Zhuman, N.Zhumakenov), "To Neglect. We waltz" (A.Kamza, S. Pechnikov), "Judge of year" – A.Bakytzhanova, K.Shaki, "Player of year" – O.Zeinolla, N.Kabdrakhmanov, "Alamnik of year" – L.Zhamantayeva, Zh.Mamanov, "For contribution in development" – I.Kakimbek, R.Karamurzin, "Breakthrough of year" – A.Khairulla, A.Bukabayev. Also the graduates, who have made a special contribution in development of IDK, were awarded by diplomas. The president of “AU” club, the 4th year student of ETF Rauan Karamurzin delegated power to the 3rd year student of HSSF Kuanysh Akerke, who was elected, again, the president of IDK. We congratulate debaters with numerous progresses in busy, but very fruitful year. In the 2016-2017 seasons, hot arguments, heated discussions, new tournaments will wait them. We wish them excellent holidays and good rest!

For the purpose of holding an informative lecture, work improvement on national patriotically education, an excursion to I. Altynsarin's mausoleum was organized to students of the specialties "Journalism", "Philology" of HSSF, and also students HLF, VLTF. This trip was an initiative of 3rd year students of Kazakh group of "Journalism". In the introductory part of excursion "Uly ustazga tagzym" was noted that interests and talents of this person was wide and various: great teacher, outstanding publicist, large ethnographer, writer, poet, public figure I. Altynsarin dedicated life to service of the Kazakh people. Recent years I. Altynsarin lived and worked in Kustanay region (earlier Nikolaevsk). He built the house in 3 km from Kostanay. Near the house on the river bank Tobol he is buried. I. Altynsarin's house didn't stay, but the mausoleum is still on place. During excursion children obtained a lot of information about the educator.   Students read his poems and then they cleaned the territory of the mausoleum. The young people, who are eager to know history and culture of the country, showing willingness to protect and keep heritage of ancestors is a worthy example for imitation!

On May 13-14, 2016, the annual "Student spring festival - 2016" took place in Kostanay. This year the Student spring festival passed on the basis of Kostanay academy Ministry of Internal Affairs of RK for the 22nd time.   The festival was opened by the debate tournament "Youth is Future of Kazakhstan"; our university was represented by two teams. In the Russian league our students were strongest and took the 1st place. Askar Segizbayev became the best speaker in the Russian league. The Kazakh league took the 1 and 2 places, and the nomination "the best speaker" was given to Zhuman Suleymen.   A lot of humour and laughter is Club of Funny and Inventive "Kazakhstan yesterday, today, and tomorrow". In this competition our university was represented by “Hollywood” team.   Dariya Shilova, is a chairman of the high student council of KSU, was awarded by the diploma of the akim of Kostanay region for active participation in public life of university and city.   Sports passions didn't cease in a sports complex of Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs of RK. Within the festival, the list of competitions included volleyball, mini-soccer, relay, presidential mile, "Kazakh kuresy" wrestling, militarized relay. Our team took the 3rd place in the militarized relay. And the mini-soccer national team of KSU received the 2nd place. Rassul Berdyguzhinov was recognized as the best goalkeeper.      Our students surprised us with talents. They prepared performances, in which our university took the 2nd place in the competition "Cultural heritage". Pride of university choreographic ensemble “Badrisafa” was awarded in the nomination "Best Dance".   “Grace and beauty” was the motto of the competition "Spring Duet — 2016". Orynbassar Sakenov and Aigerim Arystanova pleased us with bright and creative performances.    The festival ended by the gala concert, at which the Head of Kostanay academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs of RK handed a symbolical key of "Student spring festival" to the rector of M. Dulatov Kostanay Engineering University Economic, who will receive guests in next year.  

Today, the Department of Ministry of civil service affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan of Kostanay region held a meeting with students of Kostanay State University and made explanations as graduates can gain access to civil service and which criteria they should have.   Bergen Bespalinov – the head of Department noted that civil service is available to every citizen of our country, having the diploma about the higher education. For this purpose, the law provided categories of positions, on which the graduate of University can submit the application. What it is necessary to know for people, who are interested in public service:   1) Passing of test for knowledge of the legislation of RK and receiving the certificate. 2) Information on holding the general competition on replacement of the vacant administrative position, which is published on Internet resources of government and authorized body. 3) People, wishing to participate in the competition on replacement of the vacant administrative state position, give to the government body, holding the competition, a certain list of documents. 4) Candidates, admitted to an interview, pass it in the government bodies, which announced the competition within five working days from the notice date of their admission to the interview. 5) Upon receipt a positive result, the government body accepts the candidate on the declared position, who received the positive decision of the contest committee.
