Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay State University takes the seventh place in the national rating of the best Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The certificates were received last week. IKAQAE president, professor, doctor of pedagogic science Sholpan Kalanova gave the data that National rating of Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IKAQAE) consisted from 3 components: 1, 2 and 3 stages. The first stage was representing academic statistic indicators and criteria, which covered contingent and student’s population, results of their education, quality of academic teaching staff, scientific and innovative activity of HEIs, international cooperation, and also information presentation in the Internet. The second stage was introducing reputation of HEIs in the sight of experts. The third stage was presenting reputation of HEIs in the sight of employers. Also KSU took leading positions in the following specialities on the basis of IKAQAE decision: Foreign philology - 2nd place; Technological machines and equipment - 2nd place; Technology of processing industries - 3rd place; Mathematics - 4th place; Journalism - 4th place.  7th place in the national rating of HEIs of Kazakhstan for our University staff is a big success and confirmation high quality of education.

On October 29, 2016, Professional Development and Cooperation Centre of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University held the training for the publication of research results under «Newton-Al-Farabi» Partnership Programme. The training was held by Amos Fatokun, who is working at Liverpool University in Great Britain. He is engaging in the medicine research in the different parts of the world, including USA and Australia, and also has a considerable experience in the publishing activity and different aspects of science. 20 representatives of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University, Kostanay State Pedagogic University and «Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture» LLP took part in the training. Participants were awarded by the certificates at the end of the training. 

On October 31, 2016, the final of FIC league among students, who study on state programme «Serpin», took place at 207 room of building № 4 of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University. It was clear from the beginning that performance promised to be really interesting. The best teams of three departments participated in the Final League. There were «Kulki terapiyassy» team from Veterinary Medicine department, «Pruzhina» -Technology of Livestock Products department and «Bessayssak» - Veterinary Sanitation department. Everything passed according to the traditional system: greeting, musical and home tasks. From the first competition - a greeting, teams enslaved hearts of audience, leaders and even jury. Bright, authentic, magnificent acting ability, fast reaction, in other words everyone seemed more cheerful and inventive, than their rival.   The game was judged by the competitive jury consisting of Islambek Kakimbek - deputy dean of the engineering technical faculty on educational work, Zarina Tleubayeva - deputy dean of the agriculture and biology faculty on educational work, Elaman Kumusbekov - council chairman of kurators of Veterinary and livestock Technology Faculty, Dinara Kultayeva - teacher of Agronomy department. The winner has in each game, and we have our winners: 3rd place - «Kulki terapiyassy» team from Veterinary Medicine department, 2nd place - «Pruzhina» team from Technology of Livestock Products department, 1st place - «Bessayssak» team from Veterinary Sanitation department.   Also the students of Veterinary and Livestock Technology Faculty were noted: Akmurzayev Bakytbek for the best male talent and Assem Zhantore for the best female talent. On October 28, 2016, students-activists of Agriculture and Biology Faculty of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University gave blood for Gaukhar Bimurzayeva treatment, who has diagnosis of acute leukemia, in the Regional Blood Centre. The students completed a special form and were screened by the doctor. Blood was taken only from healthy students, who have no health counterindication. Someone gave blood for the first time, but someone gave blood many times in the name of saving lives. The administration of Regional Blood Centre thanked all participants and expressed gratitude to students of Agriculture and Biology Faculty.

The results of «Aiylym - menin zhumagym» photo contest became known, organized by region newspaper «Kostanay tany» and dedicated to 25 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The public officials, pupils, students, representatives of different industries were the participants of contest. The purpose of the contest is to develop sense of patriotism, creative ideas and creative vision of environment. The special independent commission from professionals chose the winners of contest. The representatives of Kostanay students were among winners. The owner of the prize and Diploma of 2 degree became 4 year student of «Journalism» speciality Kenzhegul Zhanbolat. Commission noted that his photo report have a mastery and professional view on events.  

On October 27, 2016, «Open day» concerning provision of public services was held in Public Service Center. 3rd year students of speciality «Government and local management» of management and business administration department together with adviser G.Yessimkhan visited Department of «Public Service Center» - «State corporation of «Government for the citizen» filial branch of NJSC for Kostanay region. Students had the opportunity to know more about Public Service Center’s work. The workers of Public Service Center told about technological innovation, which use in the work, and control system of documents acceptance.  The director of Public Service Center Yerkin Kyzyrovich held personal reception, where students can receive answers to interesting questions. On October 28, 2016, the workers of Public Service Center held the meeting with students of speciality «5В051000 – Government and local management» concerning matters of state services provision.
