Cycle of basic disciplines aimed at developing future specialist fundamental knowledge in the relevant specialty . Cycle  PD (profiling discipline) - total 18 credits, compulsory part - 2, component at the choice - 16. As a result of the study subjects cycle PD students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all kinds of professional work in the field of journalism. PD cycle undergraduates give an idea of ​​the political, economic and social aspects of the formation of Kazakh media, modern scientific concepts of mass communication, etc.

Educational Practices - 3 credits. Carried out with the purpose of forming practical skills teaching in higher education. Research work of a student-3 kredits.Tsel research work of a student - directed at the development of professional competencies in all types of work preparing a student for independent research work, the main result of which is the writing and successful defense of the master's thesis, and as a consequence ability to master's research as part of the scientific team.
