Administrative and legal activity

One of types of professional activity of the master in the speciality 6M030100- Jurisprudence is organisationally – administrative activity in government bodies and the organisations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, in 2011-2012 academic year the new educational trajectory – "Administrative and legal activity" is entered.

The administrative law in system of legal disciplines is professional branch, a compound link of system of the right of the Republic of Kazakhstan by means of which there is a regulation of the public relations in the sphere of state management.

Administrative law covers a wide range of public relations that arise in connection with the implementation of its management functions in the process of activity of bodies of Executive power. 

Studying of the disciplines offered within an administrative and legal educational trajectory is necessary first of all for those undergraduates who plan the future professional activity in the sphere of public administration, namely in the special government bodies which are carrying out executive and administrative activity.

Criminal and legal activity

The "criminal and legal" educational trajectory is part of speciality 6M030100- Jurisprudence and assumes receiving profound professional legal knowledge of the block of criminal and legal disciplines.

Introduction of a "criminal and legal" trajectory is caused by essential change of a place occurring in recent years and roles of criminal and legal disciplines, both in political life of society, and in legal system of the state, substantial increase of a demand of criminal and legal knowledge in all spheres of the public relations.

The concept of a "criminal and legal" trajectory at law department is developed taking into account modern requirements to a profession of the lawyer, new educational technologies, need of strengthening of communication of jurisprudence with practice.

Main aim of a "criminal and legal" trajectory – creation of conditions for receiving by undergraduates of specific profound knowledge in the sphere of criminal justice to the Republic of Kazakhstan, for acquisition by graduates of law department of additional knowledge, skills in the sphere of concrete criminal legal relations which are necessary in their further professional activity.

Criminal and legal specialisation prepares for work in investigating, public prosecutor's, judicial authorities, that is for activity in the sphere of fight against crime, investigation of crimes, maintenance of charge or protection implementation in court.

The academic degree the master of jurisprudence in the speciality 6M030100- Jurisprudence is appropriated to the graduate of speciality 6M030100- Jurisprudence.

Qualification characteristic

The sphere of professional activity of speciality is: Protection, providing, guarantee of observance of legitimate rights and interests of the state, the individuals  and legal entities arising in the legal sphere.

Objects of professional activity of the expert are law enforcement agencies; judicial, executive and representative bodies of the government and management; state and non-state enterprises; legal profession; banks; insurance and auditor companies, education organisations.

Subjects of professional activity:

• rules of law;
• events and the actions having legal value;
• the legal relations arising in the sphere of functioning of the state and non-state institutes;
• legal relations between government bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, individuals  and legal entities.

Structure of an educational program

The structure of an educational program is defined by the standard training program, the curriculum and the catalogue of elective disciplines.

Cycle of BD (basic disciplines) - all the credits 16, an obligatory component - 8, a component for choice  –8. As a result of studying of disciplines of cycle BD the being trained has to know the main sections of history of philosophy, a foreign language, psychology and pedagogic.

Cycle MS (main subjects) - all the credits 18, an obligatory component - 2, a component for choice - 16.  As a result of studying of disciplines of cycle MS the being trained has to acquire knowledge, the skills necessary for implementation of all types of research work and professional activity in the sphere of public service and management, criminally – procedural and other legal relationship.

The educational program of a scientific and pedagogical magistracy has to include the following types the practices: - the pedagogical; the research.

The pedagogical - 3 credits. Student teaching is carried out for the purpose of formation of practical skills and a teaching technique in higher educational institutions.

The research – 3 credits. Research practice is carried out for the purpose of acquaintance with modern methods of scientific researches, in-depth study of topical issues of jurisprudence and practice.

• Kostanay regional prosecutor's office;
• The administrator of vessels of the Kostanay region of Committee on judicial administration at the Supreme Court of RK;
• Specialized interdistrict economic court of the Kostanay region;
• Justice department across the Kostanay region;
• Department of internal affairs of the Kostanay region;
• Kostanay regional Bar;
• Member of Kostanay regional Bar is Orazbayev O. S.;
• Society of protection of the rights of consumers "Phemida +".

RWofU, implementation of the master thesis – the 7th credit.  The practice purpose – collecting a material for the subsequent writing of dissertation work, carrying out research in a right scope.  

The academic calendar contains a calendar of carrying out theoretical training, examinations, certifications, the professional practice, days of rest (vacation and holidays).
