Parasitic Cycle

The study of the subjects of this educational program will allow mastering the current theoretical knowledge and practical skills to carry out diagnostic and therapeutic measures in invasive diseases of animals and birds, depending on the species, sex, age and current environmental factors.

After the end of the study subjects of the educational program "Parasitic cycle" specialists should:

Know:

• morphological characterization and classification of pathogens of parasitic diseases; 
• pathogenesis and pathological changes in the depth and variety of clinical manifestations, 
• modern methods of diagnosis and effective means and methods of prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases.

Be able to: 

• identify parasitological situation in the farms by helminthes, protozoozam, arahnozam and enthomosis; 
• explore the surface of the body of animals for collecting and fixing of parasitic insects and mites;
• develop plans for the prevention, treatment and curative measures for invasive disease.

Posses: 

• laboratory methods for diagnosis of invasive disease;
• collecting and recording material for parasitological research and production of museum exhibits;
