Surgical cycle

The study of the subjects of this educational program will allow mastering the modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills during mass operations to help animals with surgical pathology.

After the end of studying subjects of the educational program "Surgical cycle" specialists should:

 Know: 

• topographical anatomy of the tissues of the animal species and age aspect; 
• theoretical basis and the technique of surgical operations; 
• the theoretical basis of surgical pathology, principles of prevention and treatment; 

Be able to: 

• to undertake surgical operations; 
• to determine the cause, to diagnose and conduct prophylactic measures in surgical pathology; 
• to conduct medical examinations of animals, aimed at identifying surgical pathology;
• with the help of a surgical method to increase the productivity of the animals, to restore the physiological properties of the organism; 
• to provide emergency care for acute injuries;

Posses: 

• the methods of surgical research, treatment and prevention, to ensure the safety of the animals with surgical pathology. 
• surgical techniques using animal-to-date with the latest methods of immune pathologies.
