Epizootological Cycle

The study of the subjects of this educational program will allow mastering modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills in anti-epizootic measures in particularly hazardous and infectious animal diseases in agricultural formations of different forms of ownership. After the end of studying subjects of the educational program "Epizootological cycle" specialists should:

Know:

• epizootic process and its driving forces
• the essence of EP and its main driving force, the main elements of the epizootic chain, biological and socio-economic secondary driving forces, the patterns of development and stages of epizootic diseases, the intensity of the EP, the dynamics of epizootic and its stage, the influence of various factors on the EP , the laws of Epidemiology; 
• Practical veterinary immunology - the mechanisms of immunity to the effects of pathogenic bodies of toxins and other alien substances, types of immunity (humoral and cell-mediated immunity), non-specific host defense factors (immunoglobulins, immune memory, antigens, immune tolerance, and GCHNT GCHZT), specific immune prophylaxis and immunotherapy of infectious diseases, biological products and their classification, the practical application of the immune response; 
• Disinfection matter - the role of disinfection in the prevention and elimination of IB, means  and ways of disinfection, methods and techniques of disinfection, disinfection organization of various objects, calculations of disinfection costs, safety, quality control methods; 
• A particularly dangerous infectious diseases of horses, cattle, pigs and poultry - are characterized by infectious diseases and their pathogens, geographic distribution, epizootiology, route of infection and pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, methods of diagnosis and differential diagnosis, prevention, and comprehensive responses;

To be able and to posses: 

• theory and methods of the experiment - the structure of scientific research institutions (SRI), planning, organization and the nature of scientific research, licensing, research, making experiments, evaluation of the reliability of the survey results, the introduction of methods of scientific research, patents, inventions, innovative designs, types and forms of publication; 
• modern problems of Veterinary Medicine - state and prospects of development of veterinary medicine in Kazakhstan, the challenges in the field of animal health and the environment, the state veterinary control of very dangerous diseases, new drugs, biological products and their production technology, modern problems of veterinary service of animals, the order of removal, destruction of animal products and raw materials of animal origin, representing a special danger to animal and human health and compensation for withdrawals.
