The field of professional specialization are: teaching activities in higher and post-secondary, vocational and technical schools of agricultural and biological profile, the scientific work in the research and production facilities; management activities in the apparatus of local, state, regional, national bodies of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, NSC and professional activities in the public and private sector of veterinary and biological areas.
The objects of professional specialists are teaching activities in higher and secondary special and vocational education and agricultural biology, scientific and administrative activities, research and production facilities. Management activities in the apparatus of local, state, regional, national structures, in the structures of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Security Committee, of veterinary importance, public and private veterinary services. Local, rural, district, regional, republican state veterinary services, private veterinary clinics, processing plants, meat, canneries (guilds), agricultural, environmental, design, expert, administrative institutions.

Master of specialty 6M120100 - Veterinary Medicine must be competent in:

The structure of the educational program
The structure of the educational program is determined by the standard curriculum, curriculum and catalog of elective courses.
BS Cycle (basic disciplines) - total 16 credits, compulsory component - 12, the component of choice - 7. As a result of studying the disciplines of Cycle BS a student should know the basic partitions necessary for the study of professional disciplines. Cycle PS (majors) - total 18 credits, compulsory component - 6, specialization subjects - 12 credits. As a result of studying the disciplines of the cycle PS students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional activities in the field of veterinary medicine.
Professional practices.
Pedagogical Practices - 3 credits. The aim of the pedagogical practice is to prepare undergraduates to their deeper mastering theory knowledge, skills training, development of agricultural technology and research. Places of Practice: RS KOF "State Veterinary Laboratory," Kostanayskiy "RSVS" LLP "Kaz SRVI" Kostanai oblast committee of the territorial inspection in AIC of MAF of the RK.
Research Practice - 3 credits. The aim of the practical training is to prepare graduate students to master the theoretical knowledge, skills training, development of agricultural technology and research in modern market conditions.
SRWof M (Scientific and Research work of a master) – 7 credits. It includes the master’s research work implementation of a thesis. The defense of master's thesis is held as a result of the research work.
Academic Calendar contains a calendar for the theoretical training, examinations, attestations, professional practices, days off (vacations and holidays).
