Master of Agriculture in specialty 6M080100 must be competent in the use of knowledge of fundamental and applied research for solving research, information retrieval, and methodological problems, to know the methodology of experimental work, the method of making programs and schemes of field, laboratory, vegetation lysimetric experiments, planning and phenological other related observations in the field experiment, university pedagogy and psychology, methods of teaching agronomic disciplines.

The structure of the educational program

The structure of the program is determined by the type of educational curriculum, curriculum and elective courses directory.

The cycle of BD (basic disciplines) - total credits 16, a compulsory component - 8, the component of choice - 8. As a result of studying the subjects of cycle BD a student should know the basic sections of History and Philosophy of Science, Professional foreign language, Psychology and Pedagogy.

PD cycle (profile disciplines) - total credits - 18, a compulsory component - 3, a component of choice - 15. As a result of studying the subjects of cycle PD a student must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to implement all kinds of professional work in the field of agronomy.

Professional practices.

Pedagogical Practice - 3 credits. The aim of the practice is to introduce students to the methods of teaching, as well as the acquisition of skills of filling in and formulation of educational and training materials. Place of practice: KSU named after A.Baitursynov.

Research Practice 3 credits. The aim of the practice is to gain experience on how to plan and organize the field of scientific research, the mathematical treatment of the results of field studies. Place of practice: LLP Karabalyk AES, LLP Kostanay Research Institute, Kostanay fruit and vegetable SVP, JSC Melkombinat    

SRWofM (including the formulation of the master's thesis) - 7 credits. The purpose of thework is self-fulfillment of research and summarizing the results in the prescribed form. Work place - LLP Kostanayskiy Agricultural Research Institute.
