Graduate specialty 6D120200- Veterinary Sanitation  is given the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 6D120200- Veterinary Sanitation.

• Qualification characteristic

The sphere of professional activity of the specialization is: veterinary -sanitary inspection; food safety, process development, manufacturing, sales , disposal and destruction of food production, state control over the security requirements of raw materials and products.

The objects of professional activity of specialist are public authorities in the field of veterinary services, the organization of higher and professional education , research institutes, scientific and industrial research and design organizations, business entities of various forms of ownership, etc.

Doctor of Philosophy PhD in specialty 6D120200- Veterinary Sanitation shall be competent for all matters related to Food Safety : to identify pollutants of agricultural raw materials and food products, toxic elements, pathogens, genetically modified, the impact of culinary techniques and processes of food processing on the content of toxic substances, the main ways of contamination of food and food raw materials, technology and organization of production of food products, in the choice of rational modes of food security in the field of labor law, and in the selection and placement of personnel.

• The structure of the educational program

The structure of the educational program is determined by the model curriculum , curriculum and elective courses catalog .

Cycle BD( basic disciplines ) - total 15 credits, compulsory component - 3, a component of your choice - 12. A study of the cycle of disciplines BD student must  know  the main branches of mathematics , physics , chemistry, engineering graphics , have a basic knowledge necessary for the study of professional disciplines . 

Cycle MD ( major disciplines ) - total 15 credits. A study of the cycle of disciplines MD students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional activity in the field of veterinary medicine. 

Carrying out the professional  practices. 

Educational Practice - 3 credits . The aim of practice is the developing practical skills of teaching in higher education. Place of practice: letting the department and the department specialized teaching the test. 

Research Practice - 3 credits . The aim of practice is the formation of professional skills in the workplace. Places of professional practice are scientific, design and production agencies and enterprises , regardless of their form of ownership, the activity of which is related to the different branches of veterinary medicine. 

RWD ( The research work of doctoral ) - 19 credits . Includes conducting doctoral research work , including the implementation of a thesis. As a result of all the work carried out the defense of a doctoral thesis.
