Qualification characteristics

The field of professional specialization are: public and private companies and organizations to develop, implement and use computer technology and software in various fields, namely engineering, metallurgy, transportation, telecommunications, science and education, health, agriculture, the service sector, administration, economics, business, management, different technologies, that is, in almost all spheres of human activity.

The objects of professional interest are computers, systems and networks , computer systems for information processing and management , computer-aided design , software , computer equipment and information systems.

Objects of professional activity are: mathematical, information, technical , ergonomic , organizational and legal support of computer systems.

The content of professional activity

Engineering and design :

• Development of requirements and specifications of the individual components of objects of professional activity on the basis of domain models and opportunities for technical equipment;

• construction of the design of the components of software and hardware ;

• design of human-machine interface software and hardware ;

• use of the elements of mathematical , linguistic , information and software of computer systems for information processing and management based on modern methods, tools and design technology .

Industry and technology :

• Creation of components of computer systems for information processing and management , production of programs and software systems of specified quality ;

• testing and debugging hardware and software systems ;

• Development of programs and testing methods , testing objects of professional activity;

• aggregation of hardware and software configuration of computer systems , systems and networks;

• Certification of objects of professional activity .

Experimental research:

• choice of mathematical models , methods, computer technology and decision support systems in research, design activity , the management of technological, economic , and social systems in the areas of human rights;

• analysis , theoretical and experimental research methods , algorhythms , programs , software and hardware and systems;

• creation and study of mathematical programming models and calculate - inflammatory processes and information related to the functioning of objects of professional activity;

• Development of plans, programs, and research methodologies and software apparatus ¬ martial systems;

Предметами профессиональной деятельности являются: математическое, информационное, техническое, эргономическое, организационное и правовое обеспечение компьютерных систем.

Содержание профессиональной деятельности

Проектно-конструкторская деятельность:
• разработка требований и спецификаций отдельных компонентов объектов профессиональной деятельности на основе моделей предметной области и возможностей технических средств;
• проектирование архитектуры компонентов аппаратно-программных комплексов;
• проектирование человеко-машинного интерфейса аппаратно-программных комплексов;
• применение элементов математического, лингвистического, информационного и программного обеспечения компьютерных систем обработки информации и управления на основе современных методов, средств и технологий проектирования.

Производственно-технологическая деятельность:
• создание компонентов компьютерных систем обработки информации и управления, производство программ и программных комплексов заданного качества;
• тестирование и отладка аппаратно-программных комплексов;
• разработка программы и методики испытаний, проведение испытаний объектов профессиональной деятельности;
• комплексирование аппаратных и программных средств, компоновка вычислительных систем, комплексов и сетей;
• сертификация объектов профессиональной деятельности.

Экспериментально-исследовательская деятельность:
• выбор математических моделей, методов, компьютерных технологий и систем поддержки принятия решений в научных исследованиях, проектно-конструкторской деятельности, управлении технологическими, экономическими, социальными системами и в гуманитарных областях деятельности человека;
• анализ, теоретическое и экспериментальное исследование методов, алго¬ритмов, программ, аппаратно-программных комплексов и систем;

Организационно-управленческая деятельность:
• организация отдельных этапов процесса разработки объектов профессио¬нальной деятельности;
• оценка, контроль и управление процессом разработки объектов профес¬сиональной деятельности;
• выбор технологии, инструментальных средств и средств вычислительной техники при организации процесса разработки и исследования объектов профессиональной деятельности;
• обучение персонала в рамках принятой организации процесса разработки объектов профессиональной деятельности.

Эксплуатационная деятельность:
• инсталляция, настройка и обслуживание системного, инструментального и прикладного программного обеспечения вычислительных систем и сетей;

The structure of the educational program

The structure of the educational program is determined by the model curriculum, syllabus and elective courses catalogue.

General studies - total 33 credits, compulsory component - 33. The study of this cycle disciplines allows the students to learn the basic situation of Kazakhstan history, philosophy, ecology, and other social and human sciences; master Kazakh, Russian, foreign languages, obtain computer skills as a means of control of a software utility , use the information obtained from the global computer network.

Basic disciplines - total 64 credits , compulsory component - 20, the electives - 44. The study of this cycle disciplines allows to learn the basic branches of mathematics, languages and automata theory, algorithms and data structures, to obtain the basic knowledge required to study the majors

Majors - total 32 credits, compulsory component - 5, the electives - 27. As a result of the study of this cycle subjects students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional activities in the field of information technology.

Practical training is also provided by the curriculum.

Educational Practice - 8 credits . The target of practice -is consolidation of the knowledge and skills to work with modern information technologies and their use for solving engineering problems. Place of practice : computer classes of the faculty of Information Technology

Practical training - 4 credits. The purpose of practice is the study of the subject of industrial activity in accordance with the kind of professional activity , gaining experience on the implementation of the main production processes , adaptation of students in enterprises and organizations as qualified professionals. Place of practice : companies and organizations in accordance with the objects of professional activity. Database of practice are : «IT-COMP,LLC», "Algorithm -service" , JSC " Interfarma -K ", LLC " Office Service Plus ".

Pre-graduation Practice - 2 credits. The target of practice ispreparation and writing of the thesis ( project).
