Qualification characteristic
The sphere of professional activity of the bachelor of psychology is the field of education and sciences, medicine, the social sphere, the state administrative sector.
The objects of professional activity of graduates of psychologists are: preschool organizations, high schools, lyceums and gymnasiums, specialized educational and educational organizations, schools, colleges and technical schools; research institutes and research centers; sports and creative organizations; health care organizations; centers of career guidance and vocational education, city and republican social services, employment centers; centers of studying of public opinion and political technologies; manufacturing enterprises and business organizations; the law-enforcement organizations and penitentiary institutions, the centers of rehabilitation and social adaptation of pedagogically let children and teenagers; communicative processes (in the range from interpersonal to macro social level) and psychological problems of interaction of the person and society, the person and the nature, the person and equipment.

The structure of an educational program
The structure of an educational program is defined by the standard training program, the curriculum and the catalog of elective disciplines.
The cycle of GED (general education disciplines) is all the credits 33, an obligatory component is 33. As a result of studying of disciplines of the cycle GED the being trained has to know basic provisions of history of Kazakhstan, philosophy, ecology, other social and humanitarian disciplines; to know Kazakh, Russian, foreign languages; to have skills of work with the computer as a control facility, works with software of general purpose; to use information received from global computer networks.
The cycle of BD (basic disciplines) is all the credits 64, an obligatory component is 20, a component for choice is 44. As a result of studying of disciplines of the cycle of BD the being trained has to know the main sections of the general psychology, social psychology, age psychology, medical psychology, work psychology; to have the basic knowledge necessary for studying of professional disciplines.
The cycle of MS (main subjects) is all the credits 32, an obligatory component is 5, a component for choice is 27. As a result of studying of disciplines of the cycle MS the being trained has to acquire knowledge, the skills necessary for implementation of all types of professional activity in the field of psychology.
Carrying out the professional practice is provided in the specialty.
The educational practice is 4 credits. The practice purpose is obtaining professional competences and primary professional abilities in the course of acquaintance to specifics of work of psychologists in laboratories, educational institutions, in various organizations. Educational practice is urged to promote formation of serious sense - forming motivation of professional development of students.
The pedagogical practice is 5 credits. Practice purpose is deepening students’ pedagogical knowledge and formation of practical abilities on the organization of complete pedagogical process in higher education institution, at school. Practice places are averages and average and professional educational institutions.
The externship is 2 credits. Practice purpose is studying by students of all types and forms of activity of the psychologist, formation of skills of research activity in the specialty. Practice places: SF "Help", Regional center of problems of formation of a healthy lifestyle, SM "Kostanaysky Regional Psychiatric Hospital", SM "Center of Adaptation of Minors".
The academic calendar contains a calendar of carrying out theoretical training, examinations, certifications, professional practice, days of rest (vacation and holidays).
