Area of professional specialization are: mathematics, actuarial mathematics; mathematics and applied mathematics; mathematics and system programming; mathematical and computer modeling; mathematics in Economics.
Objects of professional activity of specialist are: scientific-research organizations; educational organizations; banking; insurance companies; financial institutions, educational institutions, schools.

Cycle PD (Profiling Disciplines) - a total of 32 credits, compulsory component - 5 , the component of choice - 27. As a result of studying of disciplines cycle PD student should acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for realization of all kinds of professional activity in the field of mathematics.
The specialty provides the carrying out of the professional practices.
Educational practice - 2 credits.
The purpose of the practice is to form students' professional and pedagogical knowledge, skills and the development of pedagogical, methodological abilities. Designated practices: secondary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums with profound studying of mathematics. Bases of practices are schools №8 and №17 of the city.
Internship - 2 credits.
The purpose of the practice is to explore the subject of the production activities in accordance with the type of professional activity, gaining experience in the implementation of the basic production processes, adaptation of students at the enterprises and organizations as qualified specialists. Designated practices of enterprises and organizations in accordance with the objects of professional activity, insurance companies city of Kostanay, CC «Computron », KF JSC Oil insurance company».
Pregraduation practice - 2 credits.
The purpose of the practice is the preparation and writing of the thesis (project).
