A graduate of specialty 5B060400 – Physics is assigned an academic degree of Bachelor of science in the specialty 5B060400 - Physics .
Qualification characteristics
The field of professional specialization are:
- The area of experimental , theoretical and applied physics, as well as adjacent areas of natural sciences and engineering ;
- The area of education , including the area of pedagogy, theory and methods of teaching physics in secondary schools ;
The objects of professional specialists are research institutes, laboratories, engineering and design offices and companies ;
- Public education organizations and enterprises of education, as well as non-governmental educational organization;
- Industrial enterprises and associations.
Objects of professional activity
- Physical phenomena and processes (technical and modeling of power devices , aerospace and vacuum technology , laser , chemical, oil and gas, oil refining technology , etc.), products , materials and natural objects , instruments , machinery and equipment ;
- Educational and methodical documentation of educational organization;
- Production and management, and design documentation;
- Subjects of educational organizations.
Bachelor of science must be competent in all matters of planning, organization , development and management of physical research , content, methods and techniques of teaching physics , research and computerization of the educational process , introduction of quality management systems in research , education , design and industrial organizations for different purposes .
The structure of the educational program
The structure of the educational program is determined by the curriculum, academic programm and elective courses catalog.
Cycle of general studies - total 33 credits, compulsory component - 30 . Resulting from a study of the course of general studies a student should know the basis of Kazakhstan history , philosophy , ecology, and other social and human sciences; own Kazakh, Russian , foreign languages , have computer skills as a means of control of a software utility , use the information obtained from the global computer network .
Cycle of basic disciplines - total 64 credits , compulsory component - 20 , elective component - 44.As a result of the study of basic subjects course student should know the basic branches of mathematics, languages and automata theory , algorithms and data structures, have the basic knowledge required to study vocational subjects .
Cycle of majors - total 32 credits , compulsory component - 5 , elective component - 27. As a result of the study of the course of majors students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional work in the field of applied physics, radio physics and electronics.
During the course of training professional practices are provided.
Educational Practice - 2 credits. The purpose of practice - to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired by students in the study of basic disciplines , development and accumulation of skills in working with scientific information , the development of methods and experimental techniques , mastering the skills of theoretical and experimental methods for studying physical phenomena and processes.
Practical training - 2 credits. The target of practice is strengthening and deepening the theoretical knowledge acquired by students in the study of general professional disciplines cycle and specializations disciplines, acquisition and development of necessary skills and knowledge in accordance with the level of training , defined by SES .
Place of practice : companies and organizations in accordance with the objects of professional activity. Main enterprises are : Limited partnerships "White Stork" . "Intermedservice", "Agroexpert" KF JSC "NaTsEkS "
Pre-graduation Practice - 2 credits. The target of practice is preparation and writing of the thesis ( diploma).
Academic Calendar contains a calendar for the theoretical training , examinations , certifications, professional practices , days off ( vacation and holiday).
