Qualification characteristic

Sphere of professional activity of the speciality is: education, science, administration, education, intercultural communication, publishing and media.

The objects of professional activity of the specialist are middle (including gymnasia, lyceums) and middle professional (colleges) educational establishments; research organizations; releases of newspapers, magazines, radio and television; publishing houses; management organs; advertising agencies.

Articles of professional activity are:

Russian in synchronously-diachronic, sociolinguistic aspects;
Russian, world literatures;
Methodology of teaching of Russian, literatures in educational establishments.

Bachelor of Philology must be competent in matters of language policy in Kazakhstan, functioning and development of the Russian language, literature in its historical development and current state, the laws of the literary process and artistic significance of a literary work in connection with the socio-cultural situation and literary epoch of the current state and prospects of Philology.

The structure of the educational program

The structure of the educational program is determined by the model curriculum, curriculum and elective courses directory.

Cycle GED (general educational disciplines) - total 33 credits compulsory component - 33. As a result of the study subjects cycle GED student should know the basic provisions of Kazakhstan history, philosophy, ecology, and other socio-humanitarian disciplines, own Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages, have computer skills as a means of control, work with software tools general purpose use information obtained from the global computer networks.

Cycle BD (basic disciplines) - total 64 credits, compulsory component - 20, part of your choice - 44. As a result of the study subjects cycle BD student should know the basic sections of the modern Russian language, theory and history of literature have the basic knowledge needed for the study of professional disciplines.

PD cycle (profiling disciplines) - total 32 credits, compulsory component - 5, a component of your choice - 27. As a result of the study subjects cycle PD students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all kinds of professional work in the field of philology.

Profiling disciplines provide holding professional practices.

Educational (folklore and sociolinguistic) practice is 4 credits. An aim of folklore practice is application of gain knowledge on Russian to verbal folk work for mastering of methodology of collection, treatment and storage of folklore materials and their scientific classification. An aim of sociolinguistic practice is mastering of methodology of collection, description, passport systems of facts of Russian speech in the real functioning, establishment of their belonging to certain functional sublanguage, social or territorial dialect.

Pedagogical practice is 6 credits. An aim of practice is forming of skills of practical work - methodical, organizational, research, creative - in the real terms of educational organization. Places of practice: the middle and middle special educational establishments.

Pre-diploma practice - 2 credits. Target of the practice - preparation and writing of the thesis (project).
