The objects of professional activities are territorial departments of environmental protection, national parks, nature reserves , wildlife sanctuaries , biosphere reserves , industry , agriculture, landfills , power generation facilities , educational organizations , research institutes and centers.

The structure of the educational program

The structure of the educational program is determined by the model curriculum, syllabus and elective courses catalogue.

General studies - total 33 credits, compulsory component - 33. The study of this cycle disciplines  allows the students to learn the basic situation of Kazakhstan history , philosophy , ecology, and other social and human sciences; master Kazakh, Russian , foreign languages ​​, obtain computer skills as a means of control of a software utility , use the information obtained from the global computer network .

Basic disciplines - total 64 credits, compulsory component - 20, the component of choice - 44. The study of this cycle disciplines  allows the students to learn the basic branches of mathematics, languages ​​and automata theory , algorithms and data structures have the basic knowledge required to study vocational subjects .

Majors - total 32 credits compulsory component - 5 , the  electives - 27.As a  result of the study of the subjects  of this cycle students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional activities in the field of ecology and environment.

This educational program provides educational and professional practices.

Educational Practice - 2 credits. The target of practice is the consolidation of the knowledge and acquaintance with the objects of the natural environment, as well as acquiring skills to work on the PC and Computer- application programs. Place of practice: «Agricultural Research Institute,Kostanai " , natural and man-made cenoses .

Educational Practices - 3 credits . The purpose of practice is the practical implementation of the knowledge and skills obtained in the basic disciplines and the disciplines of psych and pedagogical cycle , on the basis of secondary school , high schools as a trainee teacher of ecology, implementation of classroom and extra-curricular  work.

Practical training - 2 credits. The purpose of practice is the study of the subject of industrial activity in accordance with the kind of professional activity , to gain experience on the implementation of the main production processes , adaptation of students in enterprises and organizations as qualified professionals. Place of practice : companies and organizations in accordance with the objects of professional activity. Basic enterprises : " Ekogeotsentr ", Department of Ecology Kostanai region , the Department of Natural Resources .

Pre-graduation Practice - 2 credits. The target of practice is preparation and writing of the thesis ( project).
