Objects of professional activity are processes in biological systems of various levels of the organization, identifying patterns in the formation and functioning of microbial, plant and animal bodies; biological environmental technologies; consulting, guidance, educational work with students.
Bachelor of biology should be competent in:
- Main areas of biology: a structural botany, plant taxonomy, invertebrate and vertebrate zoology, cytology and histology, anatomy, biology, personal development, biochemistry, plant physiology, genetics, microbiology and virology, human and animal physiology, molecular biology, biophysics, ecology,

Majors - total 32 credits, compulsory component - 5, the component of choice - 27. As a result of the study of this disciplines cycle students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the implementation of all kinds of professional activities in the field of natural sciences.

Educational - field practice - 8 credits . The purpose of practice - to familiarize students with a variety of invertebrate and vertebrate animals and their communities in the wild habitat .
