International Academic Mobility Programmes

The academic mobility programme of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides the students with an opportunity for one-semester study in a foreign HEI. Students may go to the Bologna process EU countries: Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, France, Sweden, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Poland. The Programme covers travel expenses, medical insurance, visa costs, accommodation. Eligibility criteria: to be a 2-3 year undergraduate student with high GPA and a good level of the foreign language proficiency. 

 

THE MAIN REQUIREMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN MES MOBILITY PROGRAMME IS TO HAVE AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE (IELTS, TOEFL, OnDaF, DELF, TCF, Goethe-Zertifikat)!


ERASMUS+ – is a new programme of the European Union for the period of 2014-2020, aimed at supporting projects of cooperation and academic mobility in the field of education, sport and youth policy. More information about the programme can be found here.

 

For over 25 years, Europe has funded the Erasmus programme, which has enabled over 3 million European students to spend part of their studies in another higher education institution (HEI) elsewhere in Europe. Erasmus+ now opens up these opportunities to students and staff from other parts of the world.

Under international credit mobility, a HEI in a Partner Country can send its students, doctoral candidates or staff to a partner HEI in a Programme Country, and vice versa. Students or doctoral candidates are able to study abroad for a limited period of 3 to 12 months for which credits are obtained. After the mobility phase, the students return to their sending institution to complete their studies.

Within ERASMUS+ programme, A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University has signed interinstitutional agreements with the following institutions: University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, University of Lodz, Poland and University of Hohenheim, Germany. THE MAIN REQUIREMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN ERASMUS+ MOBILITY PROGRAMME IS TO HAVE AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE (IELTS, TOEFL, OnDaF, DELF, TCF, Goethe-Zertifikat)! The following documents must also be provided:

 

Documents must be composed in English!

 

- Application form

- Resume of CV

- Transcript, certified with the seal of University

- Copies of corresponding diplomas, certificates and enclosures (only for master and PhD students)

- Motivation letter

- Two recommendation letters (written on the official blanks)

               - Passport copy               

   - Signed and printed declaration of honor

 

Motivation letter should include:

- Substantiation of your choice of University/discipline

- The way the programme is related to your previous education experience

- The way the programme will affect your future

 

The Programme of Visiting Scholars.  The Programme aims at involving outstanding foreign scholars and professors in the educational process at the university. Visiting Professors deliver lectures; develop research and academic collaboration between universities.

The programme enhances internationalization of education and research at the university.
