The need "to change an orientation and accents of curricula of secondary and higher education, having included programs for training in practical skills and obtaining practical qualification» was emphasized more than once in the speeches of the Head of state N. A. Nazarbayev .

KSU has a wide experience on the development of educational programs by the European standards.  The master programs in the field of eco-engineering and renewables, production of traditional food and food safety and management were developed in cooperation with the European higher education institutions within projects of TEMPUS program.

A. Baitursynov KSU has been the member of the European Association of Universities since October, 2012. Within the personnel training for the innovative enterprises we develop partnership with the leading industrial universities of Europe – Wageningen University (Netherlands), Turin Polytechnic Universities (Italy), University of Pisa (Italy), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden), SUPAGRO, Montpellier (France), etc. The directions of cooperation – development and examination of educational programs, the teaching the separate modules by foreign professors, the learning of the modules at the partner universities by KSU teachers.

Mechanisms of coordination with the European experts of educational programs are fulfilled and it allows to react quickly to inquiries of labor market and change the list and content of elective disciplines.

The university realizes development of new educational programs of the profile magistracy:

Today technical and technological progress is caused by development of various directions of mechatronics: robotics, industrial automatic equipment and automation of technological processes, planning systems and enterprise management, transport, dispatching and other systems.

Ensuring of quality and safety of food is one of the most relevant problems in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main objective consists in the training of new generation of experts, who have complex profound knowledge and are able to use modern mechanisms of quality control and ensure safety of food production.

The following algorithm is developed for development of essentially new practice-oriented educational programs for SPIID in KSU.   

Firstly, active participation of the specialists of the innovative enterprises and foreign higher education institutions, possessing by high potential in the technological sphere, in the competencies determination process, development and examinations of programs, is principal here. Secondly, use of modular system and existence of the educational modules, developed with involvement of the representatives of enterprises and foreign higher education institutions, under the competences, which necessary for the enterprises, and, taking into account the education level in bachelor and master degree program. It allows to the higher educational institution according to the requirements of market to form quickly innovative trajectories of education, to adapt and use its for different forms of education – in bachelor degree and profile master degree program, at the advanced training courses.

For implementation the modular sample of the educational profile master degree program is offered, developed under the European translation system and credits accumulation of ECTS.
