Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay State University  carries out preparation  on 21 specialties of the Master program.  The studying process is carried out only on internal form of education.  The training is made in two directions: scientific-pedagogical and profile:

- in scientific-pedagogical  master course scientific-pedagogical personnel are prepared  for scientific sphere and for system of higher or postgraduate education for those who possess deep scientific and pedagogical training;

- in Profile master course  training of staff is provided (including management), top-managers for economics, law, services and business, who has obtained deep professional knowledge.

Only citizens of Kazakhstan with high education can be accepted  in Master program. In order to be admitted there is a need to pass entrance examinations:

-exam of foreign language (for foreigners-the language of studying - State Kazakh or Russian language)

-exam of specialty.

The name of specialty of high education is not determinative thing in choosing the specialty( you can choose not homonymic specialty). The main condition for admission to master's degree is that an applicant must have appropriate prerequisites-disciplines containing the knowledge, competence  and skills which are necessary for the mastering  appropriate professional master program. List of prerequisites for each specialty is determined by the university itself.

If the undergraduate don't have necessary prerequisites, it is allowed to learn  them on a paid basis after enrolling to master course. The studying of disciplines of education program can start after mastering  necessary prerequisites.  The term of education can be lengthened if there are more unmastered prerequisites.

The duration of studying in master course is set up by University itself, taking into consideration the compliance of profile with high education and of prerequisites, but not less than 2 years for research-pedagogical direction and 1-1.5 years for profile direction. Final training period of each particular undergraduate is set up by special commission before issuing the order of enrollment to the master's study, based on the list of disciplines mastered at the previous level of education.

To study in master program is possible by the State educational grants, and on fee-paying basis due to the payment from your own savings or other sources. Only people who receive the education of this level for the first time and who studied all the prerequisites necessary for acquiring educational program of master course during the period of receiving higher education can participate in competition on education order.
