- Could you tell me who is eligible to enter master course?

According to the Standard Admission Regulations of educational institutions implementing professional educational programs of postgraduate education people who have mastered professional educational programs of higher education can be accepted.

- Which exams should I pass to enter the master course of KSU?

 Applicants of magistracy should pass the following examinations:

1. one of foreign languages by own choice ( English, French, German);
2.  according to specialty.

- What is the procedure and form of entrance exam of a foreign language? 

  The entrance exam of a foreign language is conducted by method of blanks testing technology developed by the National Testing Centre of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

- Which category of applicants for admission to magistracy can avoid passing exams in a foreign language ?

- Could you tell me what is the procedure of admission to magistracy? 

  1) During the period from July 10 to July 30, you should pass the necessary documents; 2) during the period August 1-5, you will get a permit on the test in a foreign language (where will be pointed  the date, place and number of the audience);

3) from 10 to 13 of August  exam is held in a foreign language by blanks testing and after that getting a certificate;4) from 18 to 20 of August, the oral examination of the specialty is held;  5)  the period from 25 to 27 of August – enrollment to master course.

- Last year my son while passing an exam in a foreign language got 49 points. Could you tell me whether he had the right to apply for an appeal? 

Yes. Applications on the content of exam materials and of technical reasons are accepted until 13.00 hours the next day after the announcement of the results of entrance examination and  are considered by the appeal committee within one day from the date of statement.

- Last year I did not get a grant in " Veterinary Medicine" . It was offensive to me because applicants entering the master course had had the same number of points with me and won the grant. Please tell me what is the procedure of awarding grants?

If you have the same number of points  a person who has  higher marks will have a privilege in enrollment to get a grant. If you have the same points of entrance examination in the specialty, the privilege is got by applicant who have higher mark in a foreign language. Then also scientific achievements connected   with chosen specialty are taken into consideration. 

-  My sister works in the Akmola region by specialty acquired in higher education institution. Upon delivery of the documents to the selection committee at A. Baitursynov KSU refused to accept the documents without a copy of the employment history. To come back home was expensive , and there was no time . Tell me, whether a copy of employment history is obligatory?

According to Standard Admission Regulations of educational institutions implementing professional educational programs of postgraduate education from January 19, 2012 # 109, the person who has seniority shall provide to the Selection committee personal form of accounting personnel and a copy of the employment history.

- I graduated from  A. Baitursynov KSU in 2011. Tell me please, is it required along with a copy of the diploma to grant copies of applications in three languages ​​?

Individuals who have graduated from universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2009 , for admission to master course are required to provide copies of diplomas with applications ( transcript ) in three languages ​​( English, Russian and Kazakh languages ​​) . Without them diploma is considered to be invalid.

We will mark in parallel, along with copies of the documents that you should pass to the Selection committee , you must submit the original for verification . After the reconciliation originals of documents will be given back.
