The professional activities of the PhD student are:- technological machines and equipment, leading equipment; general equipment to accommodate all parts of the machine;construction and maintenance materials; equipment for maintenance and repair of technological machines; instrumentation for the manufacture and operation of machines; equipment for automation of working processes of machines; equipment for the design of machines.
The purpose of the educational program
The purpose of the educational program: to establish a system of knowledge and critical assessment of the current technical problems, studied and discussed in the framework of various areas of durability with a PhD student; to establish a comprehensive understanding of the scientific methods and skills of applying these methods for studying technical problems with a PhD student; to establish with a PhD student 's ability to carry out independent scientific research and competence in formulating their own conclusions on various branches of the IST;

Functions of professional activity

- carrying out technical expertise and audit;

- collecting of materials and conducting of laboratory researches;

- drawing up an enterprises environmental passport;

- advisory services to the population on technical issues;

- conducting technical monitoring; technical research;

- expert investigation of project, pre-project documentation in terms of its compliance with the international standards;

- assistance in the fulfilling the obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the requirements of international conventions in the technical field;

- promoting the implementation of research results in production;

- teaching of technical subjects in educational facilities
