Kostanay State University carries out preparation on 34 specialties of the higher education on internal and correspondence forms of education.

Training provides according to the main educational program - 4 years for a bachelor degree and 5 years for a specialist programme (for specialties of veterinary science), and with the reduced term of training of 2-3 years for graduates of colleges or higher education institutions

Training on the main educational program carried out only in an internal form, training on the reduced educational programs – both on internal, and on tuition by correspondence.

Training in the correspondence form on specialties of economic and legal faculties carried out with use of remote educational technology.

Training in the basic educational program of the University can have persons who have general secondary, technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional), post-secondary or higher education.  Transfer is carried out according to points of the certificate issued by results of uniform national testing.
