Cooperation with foreign experts

Foreign experts are actively involved in the study of the archaeological heritage of the region. For example, Archaeozoological study of materials of Torgay monuments were conducted by L.L. Gaiduchenko, P.A. Kosintzeva.
 
In 2005, Professor Richard Everhard (University of Bristol) and Alan Outro (University of Exeter) conducted chemical analyzes of pottery of the Neolithic, Eneolithic and Bronze Age. In 2006, members of the laboratory of archaeological research and Dr. Sandra Olsen (Carnegie Museum of Natural History) were the first to use the method of magnetometry in excavation of the burial ground at Bestamak.


Collaboration with German archaeologists. 2011.

 

In 2009-2010. A.N. Usachuk (Donetsk) investigated parts of horse harness of Bronze Age burial Bestamak. In 2011 there was carried out a joint operation with experts from the German Mining Museum in Bochum T. Stollner, A. Goncharov, M. Schilcht for the Study of metal products of Bronze Age monuments of Torgay. Also the anthropological type of Torgay population in various archaeological periods is actively studied. A. Kolbina and R. Lindstrom are working in this direction.
