In Kazakhstan the most important unit of educational and scientific structural division of higher education engaged in educational, methodical, scientific research and educational work, as well as training of the teaching staff and improving their skills is the department.

In the structure of the Faculty of Veterinary and Livestock Technology there are three departments: the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Sanitation and the Department of livestock products. The Departments provide training in four undergraduate majors, 3 master specialties and 3 specialties of PhD.

There are experienced teachers, the doctors of sciences, the candidates of sciences and masters of engineering and technology on the faculty.
