About the department

 

The Department of processing and standardization technologies was organized on September 1, 2002. The Department in different years was headed by: doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Kalnaus V. I. (2002-2004), candidate of biology sciences, professor Kasyanov P.F. (2004-2014). Since 2014 head of the Department candidate of technical sciences, senior lecturer V. L. Smolyakova.

The priority goal of the Department of processing and standardization technologies in the field of improving the quality of educational services is the implementation of educational activities at a high level. Implementation of educational programs is provided by the scientific and pedagogical personnel having the basic education corresponding to a profile of the taught disciplines and systematically engaged in scientific and scientific and methodical activity.

The Department has 14 staffer teachers, including 5 candidates of sciences Smolyakova V.L., Moldakhmetova Z. K., Chsherbakov M.A., Zdereva L. B., Khasenov U.B., 6 masters Yerish N.A., Tolemis T.S., Tleubaeva Z.B, Saidov A.M.,Zhanabayeva K.K.  and Kuanyshbayeva A.A.

The Department teaches subjects in kazakh and russian. All disciplines are equipped with educational and methodical complexes. The main disciplines of the Department are equipped with laboratory classes.

Students are provided with bases for practical training at the advanced enterprises of the city of Kostanay, such as LLP "Ivolga-holding", JSC "Kostanay Mill", JSC "Bayan-Sulu", JSC CF Natsex, LLP "Altyn-Nan". Field practical classes are held, the skills of students are encouraged by letters of thanks.

In all types of educational, methodical and scientific work the Department occupies a leading position at the faculty of agriculture and biology.

Educational laboratories are equipped with modern technological equipment, which allows for practical and laboratory classes at a high level. The Department has branches and training and production laboratories at the existing enterprises of the city, which allows to bring the training of students to practice.

Available in educational laboratories, classrooms of the Department of material and technical base and educational and methodological support can significantly improve the level of the educational process, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of knowledge, improvement and deepening of professional and practical training of students in order to their subsequent demand and competitiveness
