On October 27, 2018, on the basis of the Nazarbayev University and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the quarter-finals of the ACM ICPC World Team Programming Championship among student teams of Kazakhstan were held. n total, they were attended by 130 teams from universities of the country, representing various regions of the republic. Within 5 hours, teams were asked to solve 11 problems. The verification of tasks was carried out by an independent test system, excluding the intervention of the “subjective factor”. The team of Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov was represented by students of the specialty 5В070400 - Computer Science and Software - Kulmakhan Razaman, Manakov Yaroslav and Tulegenov Tasbolat, the head of the team - Galikhanov SG.
ACM ICPC Student Team World Programming Championship is the largest international competition for university students from around the world.
